The word AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15.
“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV)
Since 1950, AWANA has grown form a one-church program into a ministry that includes more than 30,000 churches in 104 countries world-wide. Local churches reach hundreds of thousands of young people each week by using the AWANA program. The goal of AWANA is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and to train them to serve him.

Puggles (ages 2-3 yrs. old) is a program for preschool age children. Puggles is a foundational curriculum that communicates biblical truth in a fun and age appropriate way. During the year Puggles curriculum is built around Four Big Truths: God Made Everything, God is Great, God Loves Us, and We Give Thanks.
CUBBIES (ages 3-5yrs. old) is a program for preschool age children. These three and four-year-olds are eager and ready to learn about God’s love and the importance of His Word. Parental involvement is an integral part of the program.
SPARKS (K-2nd Grade) is for children from kindergarten through second grade. Active, inquisitive clubbers are introduced to the unique club structure of Game Time, Green Meadow Time, and Sparkle Time. The friendly firefly cartoon character – Sparky – guides the children through colorful, exciting materials to encourage achievement.
TRUTH & TRAINING (3rd – 6th Grade): T&T engages kids by answering their questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal life stage to grow in Christ’s grace.
